I just LOVE taking photographs of toddlers!! Every moment is candid and natural. I always try not to rush it - the nicest photos emerge when the little ones start exploring the things surrounding them...

It was such a pleasure to meet Lineo and Aya. They are both gorgeous from the inside and out!

Just a few kilometres outside Bloemfontein, there is a little piece of paradise. After about a week's rain, water pools formed everywhere on the farm of one of Hermien's friends and the photography possibilities were endless! I enjoyed this location so much and thought to myself that one day, when I'm grown up, I want a piece of land like this. I was just like a kid in a candy store, so many nice corners to take photos - SO LITTLE TIME!!!

Renier and Hermien's wedding will be my first wedding for 2012 and I just CAN'T wait!!! It was so much fun to spend the afternoon with them and get to know them a little bit better before their big day!

Okay, so not only was this my first Greek wedding...I got the privilege to meet one of my favourite photographers, Christine Meintjies and second shoot on one of her weddings!! It was also the first time I got to work with Liesl from iiOLA events (a new friend of mine), whom I believe is Superwomen, by the way!

Everything looked like a million dollars...from the decor, the lighting, the bar up to the bride and groom who radiated with joy, the guests and the food - need I say more?

It was truely a fairytale wedding of which I get a warm feeling inside when thinking that I was a part of it. Definitely an experience I will NEVER forget!!!

From the first day I met Henda, I think it's fair to say that she has been my biggest FAN! She advertised me so much, that I was tempted to shoot their wedding for free! Thanks Henda, you're so awesome!!

Jaco and Henda are just two of the most comfortable people in front of the camera - a photographer's DREAM :)! None of us could believe when the day actually arrived and everything was in place. I think Henda counted down the days for a whole year, updating her BBM status about every second...ha ha!

Their wedding was in Reddersburg, a small town in the Free State. And everything about it was just magical. Their "team" transformed an ordinary school hall into a fairytale wedding banquet hall, I was so impressed!

What a great priveledge to have been a part of their special day!! I wish you happiness forever! Hope you LOVE your photies.

Oh, and a special thanks to Mandie who assisted me for the day...!

This was the coolest, cutest dog ever! We took these photos at Mizpah Lodge and their dog joined Quintin and Carike as if being part of a family portrait. It was so awesome! A BIG thanks to Karin and Wikus from Mizpah Lodge who allowed us to use their beautiful lodge as a backdrop and their dog (I don't even know it's name) who added a special element to these photos...hehe!

Leandra and Wiaan's wedding was one of those that you look forward to from the second you booked it!! I will never forget the first time I met Leandra - my first thought had to be "OH MY GOODNESS, this is going to be so much FUN"!!! It was more than FUN, I can tell you that. Wiaan and Leandra are two people who are so kind and sincere in all their actions - and together they are a power couple capable of enjoying life to the fullest. Leandra, you were a STUNNING bride. You made everyone's eyes fill up with tears the moment you walked down the isle (I was lucky to get a shot of Wiaan the moment he first saw you! yay!). When Nadia, Marna's bridesmaid, asked me to photograph them getting ready for Marna's wedding, I was super excited! I just LOVE the detail shots in general and capturing the moments before the wedding is such an honour. What a perfect day it was with perfect weather, the cutest venue (Slightly Nutty), fantastic events planner (Ezelle, that's you - ha ha!) and a vibrant guest of honour, Alda. Every detail was beautifully planned. From the decor to the food (which was amazing by the way!). What a great privelege to capture the joy and festivities of this day!

What a fun shoot!! The location was perfect, weather awesome and the couple...WELL FP and Diana are the coolest couple EVER!! Olivia is one of the most sweetest, creative and awesome persons I know. When she asked me to photograph her wedding, I felt honored and was sooooo excited to capture the special moments between her and her best friend and now new husband, Karel (Kallie, as she calls him - how sweet).

They were so in love and I could just as well not have been there with a camera in their faces...they talked with each other as if they have met for the first time. They gave me a feeling of how all weddings are supposed to be. The emotion and happiness was so real!

Thanks you two for making me a part of your special day. May God be ever present in your marriage as He was on your wedding day.

This was my first solo wedding shoot and the most nervewrecking, yet incredible thing I have done in my entire life!!! Apart from all the nerves, it was an awesome experience and I'm so excited as the photographs take form while I'm editing.

I'm not a great writer, so hopefully these photographs will tell the tale of a day that I will never forget.
